Your Airport Cam

Sun Dec 31, 2006 12:42 pm

SEA: http://www.kirotv.com/wxcam/1867909/detail.html

Of course day pics would show better than night. I wish there were "live" cams so i can watch take-offs and landings right in front of my computer. That would be so cool.  Smile

RIC doesn't want people to know how dead the airport actually is, so they decided not to install one.

I think Philadelphia has one (or did at one point) that showed the gate areas.

I wish there were more of these around the world so we could see all of the live activities going on around an airport.

Actually, PHL has 2 webacams that show off the gate areas and a bit of the runway action.

ILG and SBY (my closest airports) are virtually empty during the day so I think they don't deserve a web cam.  Smile

This is the only decent webcam that I could find close to MSP.

Sweet, I'm about 80 miles SW (down by the River Bend) of it.

I don't really know if it's showing SAN exactly, I have to see it better in the daytime to understand what exactly its showing. I think it's of the harbor area.

LAX

I knew it only because KABC is an LA station.

There isn't one for ATL, although one of the local stations does have a camera atop the Renaissance Hotel, it is not available for public viewing (unlike the web cam they have on their transmission tower).

IN-N-Out at LAX should install a rooftop cam showing the arrivals on the 24's. I am sure they could make a nice profit with selling advertising space on the page as it will be a popular spot to visit on the web.

Here is SBN:

You have to select the 'South Bend Regional Airport' tab on top.
