I'm bored, and we haven't had one of these threads in a while, so tell us why you got the signature you've got right now.

Mine comes from 181st Ferengi Rule of Acquisition, which is from Star Trek.

Not even dishonesty can tarnish the shine of profit.

Sometimes, I tend to believe that it's true. What about your sigatures?

Mine is the title of the theme song from the movie "Eurotrip"... When I joined in December 2004, I was pumped because I had just bought the DVD of the movie, so I put it as my signature.

Yea, I've just never bothered to change it... I could though, because I have a mental database of literally hundreds of great lines I could use!

I borrowed mine from "Drawn Together." There's a character that's only appeared a few times, Judge Fudge, and that's basically his tag line. Great line, had to be a part. I usually change my signature about every 3 months or so. I want to start using quotes from "The Usual Suspect," like "The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist."

I wish UA flew mainline to MYR, that way you wouldn't be stuck in a smelly Saturn for 12 hours.

Already past holiday season just like the song it is from ("Do they know it's Christmas?"), but it still shows one of the dumbest lines in grammatically correct music in my view. I mean, you have a song that is about the suffering and hunger of people in Africa, and then you state that they don't get snow for Christmas? I have yet to understand the importance of that  Yeah sure .

Wherever its from I like it and I think its highly suitable for A.net.  Smile

Here's my current one...

If everyone kept their New Year resolution, on Jan 2 we'd see more people queuing at the gym than at a Shakira concert.

One of the local radio stations has some funny ads, and this phrase is mentioned in one of them. Actually, according to them there should be more people queuing at the dietician's clinic, but that doesn't fit in the signature line...

Most of the time I'll get my signature from current events; otherwise, I'll pick a Peanuts quote, such as the one I had last month: If Santa Claus exists, he's going to be too good to punish me, even if I am naughty. And if he doesn't exist, I don't have to worry, right?
