I wish I could win this contest ... Nice prize, I am very tempted. I am not familar with jetBlue's song themes.

I did find useful site for this contest -- below is the link to the site -- not enough information provided for me to win this contest, but, I think it will help few others.

Too much techno... Even if one of those were TCM, I wouldn't get it because I only know a few of their songs... oh well.

...which have absolutely nothing to do with the contest or the songs chosen anyway.

Nop. That's it. Anymore info and I'd might as well just reveal the track. If one were to know that song, it would not be at all difficult to connect the dots and make perfect sense out of the clues.

Ok, after pondering over the 2nd track for a while, here's what I think....

1. The Cranberries - Dreams
2. Ocean Blue - Renaissance Man
3. Robert Miles - Fable
4. The Outfield - Every Time You Cry
5. Paul Van Dyk - Nothing But You
6. Simon & Garfunkel - I Am A Rock
7. Morningwood - Nth Degree

Damn, how come no RUSH?

That would be too easy for me.
I am not a fan of the A320 or the JetBlue livery so that's why I didn't bother.
Now if you had a contest for a AirCal BAE146 or LOT Polish IL-62, then I'd go through every possible measure to figure out the songs.

Matt, if no one wins the Reel to Reel game, I'd be willing to buy them off your hands for a price that can be negotiated later (I'd be glad to cover shipping too). But I'll wait till everyone's attempted the game that wants to as that was the original deal.

Nevermind.
Since AirCal is gone AND the Bae146 is no longer in production, I figure you wouldn't let that model plane go at all.
I do not remember seeing that last time I was down there.

I had it set aside at the time because it was originally out in the living room and one of the cats knocked it over, breaking the stand. I since had to glue it back on. So while the model itself is intact, it is glued to the stand. And if/when I sell it and ship it, it will probably need to be snapped off again (so as to get it in a box) and the new owner will need to re-glue it.

I am waiting for Herpa Wings to come out with a 1:500 scale version. I know it's smaller but all of there planes are to scale and I have 20 Herpa Wigns already.

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for a 1:500 OC BAe146. As it is, very, VERY few models of AirCal were done. The only ones I'm aware of are the 146 shown above, which was made by PPC Holland (which I believe went out of business years ago), a 1:100 scale 737-300, also made by PPC (which I had one of, but about 10 years ago I went ballistic over something and launched it into a wall), and would be worth a fortune today, and a Dragon Wings/Jet-X 1:400 737-300, of which I still have two or three still boxed. Also Schabak made a 1:600 scale AirCal MD-80 and 737-300. Because of their miniscule size, and Schabaks overall low quality, neither of them really came out that great.

I would LOVE to see (or hire someone to make) some 1:200 scale decal sheets of them. The other ones I have I had custom made. But three of them, I'm not happy with, and the guy that did them refused to do any more models for me, even though I was paying him up to $75 a pop to do them.

Well it doesn't have to be an AirCal model. Just as long as it has cheatlines. and not the rental car white fuselage/painted tail look.

Slacker. I have 39 Herpa's, 17 Gemini's, and a few Schabak's, and that's the smaller scale collection (1:400 and smaller).  wink

The reason for such a small collection is because I only buy models of aircraft that are no longer in production; ie AA 727, CU TU154, UA 747SP, HA DC10, SV IL-62, LH 732, etc.
The only 'new' aircraft I have is the Olympic Airways A340.
I only bought that one because its the most beautiful aircraft/livery combo in the world.  Wink
I also have a 1:200 scale of that on my fireplace mantle.
I bought that at the first A.net meet in SFO waaaaaaaay back in 2000.

Herpa wings have been coming out with a lot of cool stuff lately.
My next purchase will be the A380 and SV AN124.

The only Schabak I own is a DL DC-8.

Ah. I tend to buy models that are still flying, or that I've at least seen flying on a regular basis in my lifetime. The only models I have of aircraft that aren't flying anymore are three Delta 727's (Gemini 3 set in Widget, Iterim, and Deltaflot liveries), three Delta MD-11's (One Gemini, One Herpa, One Schabak), Two TWA 747-100's (Gemini and Herpa) and as of this past weekend, now one NW DC-10.
I wonder what my Gemini FedEx A380 counts as though.  scratchchin

Nice collection.
I will eventually buy more planes that are currently in service. I just hate the white fuselage/painted tail look of most aircraft today.
I may go ahead and buy the Thai 747-400 since its still of the older livery.
I forgot to mention my Horizon Air Dash 8 100. The plane is still in service but out of production.

frown  True that. The only new livery I like over the old one (of airlines that have changed their's in the last 3 or 4 years) is the new US Scheme. UA's is  yuck  though.

Oh man. We'll just have to agree to disagree then. I really like the current CO livery. The "Deltaflot" is one of my favorites out there right now, and I do like the JetBlue schemes. The new Northwest livery to a while to grow on me, but I think it's alright. Liked the old one a little more though, especially on the larger jets. I think it looks pretty cool on the CRJ though.

Same here.
I tend to go for the classic looks of Olympic, Aeroflot (previous one), Iberia, American, LOT and the brown Southwest colors.

On my lunch break I came very close to buying a 1:500 scale Herpa Wings Lybian Cargo AN124 and a Jihad A380. I prefer to get the AN124 in the Volga Dnepner(sp) livery.

I've been a fan of the "cheatlines" myself. My favorites include, but are not limited to:

United (red/blue/orange)

USAir ("rust" colors)

PSA (a timeless classic)

AirCal (of course)

Frontier (original orange/red/maroon)

Continental "old" (the red meatball scheme looks neat and the black meatball scheme is simply elegant)

PEOPLExpress

KIWI International

Republic ("Herman" colors)

USAir (1989 red/blue stripe)

Western ("Bud Light" colors)

Delta ("Widget" livery)

So should I hold another contest...featuring the X-2000R with the AirCal 146 as the prize? That seems to be a pretty rare model. I haven't been able to find it (or the kit/decals to make it) anywhere.
