Scottish Train Fire.. 36 New Cars Destroyed

Howdy,

After seeing this first hand this afternoon, being part of the "rescue" crew, hauling some of the wagons to Millerhill i'd like to share a few photo's.. mass carnage if you ask me.

Carnage is quite the understatement, hell of a lot of money gone there!

and the disruption caused by this incident was made worse when somebody topped themselves at Durham.

Not a good day on the East Coast Main Line!

Only 36 cars? That doesn't begin to compare with the 4,812 cars lost on the Cougar Ace.

My lord, I thought it was going to be 36 train cars, not 36 cars. Unfortunate, yes, but this wasn't the sinking of the Titanic.
