A Question To My Italian Fellow A.nutters

Sat Feb 03, 2007 9:15 pm

Ciao,

So the situation is as follows. With valentines day closing in and me being somewhat close (getting closer i'd hope) to a lovely Italian lady residing in Italy, i'd naturally want to send her some kind of gift to mark the occasion. Now, i sent her roses on her birthday so this time i'd like to send her something else, so i thought of the DVD version of 'The devil wears Prada'. Before i got the chance to blow my horn i discovered that the DVD comes out on 21st, 1 week after Valentines day. What a dissapointment i thought, but then i got the idea to get her the book instead, which has been out since 2004 if i'm not mistaken.

Anyways, now the problem is that i cant find a hard cover version of it on any Italian bookstore's website. There is a paper back pocket version available here: http://www.internetbookshop.it/ser/serdsp.asp?isbn=9788838477799

I will end up getting that one if i dont find anything better. So, do any of you Italian guys here happen to know if that book is available as hard cover in Italy? I'd really want to find the hard cover version instead.

Thanks for any advice (and yes, i do accept any other advice for a gift if you have any  Smile

Ciao

I'm sorry but I can only confirm what you already know: from the Piemme editor it's only available in the pocket economy version ("brossura") and no other editor publish it, for the moment.

LOL j/k.
IDK I think it might be out, but I'd have to talk to some of my relatives over there. I'll get back to you in a few hours.
