Buying A Motorola V60p Cellphone?

Sun Feb 04, 2007 4:50 am

Im in Europe (in Hungary) and I want to buy a Motorola v60p cellphone but this a very outdated phone and I want to ask if they sell these types or models here in Europe?

Im stuck this RAZR which I bought here in Europe but Im starting to hate it because the keypads feel too sensitive and about to brake.

Whats the chance of getting an older type phone such as the Motorols v60p?

This model (V60p) was sold 2001-2002ish so your chances of buying a new one are very close to zero. You might run into a used one but I don't think that's what you want, is it?
Also keep in mind that pre-Razr Motorola had only very small market share on the European market.

Don't have much advice to offer, but I have to agree completely with the older phones being more durable and comfortable. The V60 was a good phone but had two major flaws:

1) The antenna would always break off if you used the belt clip
2) Motorola batteries were crap then, and are still crap now

eBay is your best place to look for such phones.

The best phone I ever had was an Ericsson (before Sony-Ericsson) T28. Very simple and elegant design, light and comfortable to use. I am going to try and find one right now actually, you have spurred me to action  Smile

I never used the belt clip and went through 3 antennas--- it was ridiculous

I agree. Older cellphone were the best in my opinion. The RAZR for example, which is quite new on the market, its keypad it feels its about to break or something....

I dont really like it. But its a phone and I use it for emergencies only.

But I do really wish to have the Moto v60p....Or even the v710....

My first cell phone was a V60. I really liked it, too bad my original carrier didn't have service when I moved to upstate New York.

If you don't like the RAZR you may want to look at the Motorola V325.
