Anyone Know Of A Good AM/FM Radio?

Mon Feb 05, 2007 10:12 am

I am looking to buy a table top radio to listen to mostly AM stations. I have an old tube model that works good, but I would like to modernize my radio I listen to every morning while I get ready to go to work. I was thinking about the Radio Shack RS-21. It cost $70 and looks and sounds good. Does anyone here have one? Does it pick up AM good? One of the things I like about it it has a tuning knob and not digital tuning. That comes in handy for finding a weak station. Are there any other good AM/FM radios with manual tuning around that price range?
