We were in the ramp office watching the game when Taylor made that hit.

Pretty unnecessary for a Pro-Bowl, but a great tackle. He did lead with his
helmet though...  no

Couldn't get John Madden over there to make one of his routine "gay sounding inuendos" while commentating football due to his fear of flying.... or the real reason, he doesn't want to have to pay for 2 seats.

Nice hit.

I still think the one that Chuck Bednarik put on Frank Gifford was better
OBAMA-WORST PRESIDENT EVER....Even SKOORB would be better.

Just one more University of Miami thug. There is no need for a hit like this in an All-Star Game.

That being said, great hit.

Just another UM thug? Sure, Ray Lewis and Taylor have gotten into trouble off the field, but considering how many stellar players UM has sent to the NFL in the last 15 years or so, that is hardly the norm. I actually played against Sean Taylor when I was a freshman and he was a senior in high school in Miami, his team ended up winning the state title that year for 2A schools. He scored something like 5 touchdowns against us, which included a kickoff return, a punt return, 2 receptions for TDs, and a reverse run for a TD, and he also shut our offense down while he was playing safety. My only claim to fame was that I managed to tackle him, but he still drove me back about 6 yards before I brought him down  Wink

My problem isn't the hit (even thought Taylor celebrated a little too much for my liking...afterall it was the punter for goddsake!) It was that Moorman, a very classy guy went to seek out Taylor and give him a pat in the back. Meanwhile, Taylor pretty much ignored him. Wouldn't you think Sean Taylor,,,after laying out the PUNTER in an All-star game would have been the one to seek out Moorman and make ssure he was OK? guess that's why some players say he has no class.

don't forget Warren Sapp.

Still being said I am a University of Miami fan, though there is another U of M I like more.

Congratulations Sean Taylor. That's like Shaq dunking over Spud Webb.

checkmark  And I don't think playing for the Foreskins really helps with his character issues...

For starters, there was the assault case that hung over Taylor's head for a year, through seven trial postponements. Taylor ended the saga earlier this month when pleaded no contest to two misdemeanors, avoiding any jail time that could have essentially ended his career.

A partial list of his transgressions includes a $25,000 fine for skipping a mandatory rookie symposium, a drunken driving charge -- eventually dismissed -- that got him benched for one game, and seven fines for late hits and other on-field infractions, including $17,000 for spitting at another player during a playoff game. Then came the no contest plea, which could still lead to a fine or suspension from the NFL.
