Onion soup "no sauce" meatloaf:

2 lbs ground beef (85% or more lean)
1 pkg Lipton Onion soup mix
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/4 cup Lea & Perrins Worcestershire sauce
1 egg
Ground black pepper

Mix all ingredients except the pepper. Put into a bread loaf pan, and pack tightly. Sprinkle the pepper on top as desired. Bake at 350ºF for 1h15m.

I'll rassle ya for a bowl of bacon!

Indian cuisine. Or, to be specific, chicken pathia, made very hot, with pilau rice and a mushroom bhaji, a couple of spicy poppadoms, and some mango chutney on the side. Washed down with a Cobra beer. Absolute gastronomical heaven.

Bacon, garlic bread (the way my mother makes it), or chocolate covered cherries (more candy than food, really). Nothing healthy, which is probably why they taste so good.

London broil flank steak, red potatoes, french bread, and a caesar salad. Even better if it is a rare steak.

Wow, I couldn't possibly choose just one food that is my favorite. I try new foods as often as I can and add them to my list Big grin

A dinner at Stuart Anderson's Black Angus....their Filet Mignon is just great!!!!! I also like the hamburgers from a little Hamburger place in Sausalito, Ca.

But since I live in The Netherlands, I cannot eat there that often..  frown  So over here I like Chinese food, but also the typical Dutch food (potatoes, veggies and some meat). If your not Dutch, you probably think our food is bland and without much taste(esp. the "stamppot"), it doesn't usually have much herbs and isn't spicy at all.

so-called weight-loss scheme

I've got one for you, it's called "eat less and get some exercise".  Wink Works on everyone, saves you a great deal of money and you can eat whatever you want just as long as there's not too much of it.

As for myself, I love a good Saltimbocca alla Romana.  yummy  I do love a nice steak as well, medium rare please with some herb butter on the side.

Toss up between jerked chicken (with mind numbing pepper) and rice and peas or ackee and codfish with fried dumplings.
