Anet Fantasy Baseball Sign Up!

Thu Feb 22, 2007 11:32 am

Hey guys, I do this every year, got a custom Yahoo group for the FedEx guys at work, but I usually play multiple teams.

If anyone wants to play, add your name to the list. First 12 and I'm gonna create the league on Yahoo.

Live Draft March 10, Sat, @ 1230p. I added a bunch of stats that count to make it more interesting.

Use your Anet handle if possible. I can't recall if you need a password, invite, email to sign up. Let me know!

I'm in...after finishing 3rd last year, I should be able to do better this year...since I'm going back to Venezuela and they actually show some baseball there...here in Australia I couldn't watch any games which makes it hard to pic the players...

hey man...we need the password to join the league...

That's ok...I think you can rank the players in the order you want them and it will draft your players according to your rank and available players when it's your time to pic in the draft...if not it will use yahoo's rank, which I believe are based on last season's stats...

Cool. In that case, I'm in too. I wasn't sure you could pre-rank them with a live draft.

I'm in.

Hopefully I'll do better here than I did in WelHung's football league.

Prerank your players if you can't make the live draft.

Nope, but thats okay. I would not be available until about 5 PM CST, which would free me up as well as Pipo777.

I'm in as the Blue Jays, I figure since I'm winning the A.net hockey pool currently I may as well try to take the baseball one too.

If anyone else will actively participate in the league, I'd consider adding a few more spots.

Well you shouldn't have done that, pools are always fun! I'm also winning the A.net NASCAR pool that I started, however, since it's only one week in I can't really brag about that one just yet. My goal this year is to win all 3 A.net pools that I'm in, the NHL, MLB and NASCAR. Hopefully I'll be able to join the NFL pool for next year if there's one.

That's quite a lofty goal. All your boys from the pocketprotector crew will be envious of you if you pull that off.

Crimony. Guess I got a few I was looking for. I'm pretty sure some of the guys on my roster are hockey players and some might even be dead. Oh well....
