World War II Sub Simulator

Thu Feb 22, 2007 10:36 pm

Does anyone know of ANY decent World War II Allied submarine simulation game? I used to play Seawolf, but after upgrading to Windows XP, it refuses to run. Since it was coded to run under DOS before Windows 95 was released, I'm not surprised it quit working. I have Silent Hunter III, and Sub command, but I'd like to get something along the lines 699, Seawolf, or (ultimately) Silent Service. I've tried software manufacturers, Ebay, Amazon and even cruised through a few pawn shops.

If anyone has any other ideas, or better yet, has one they no longer want, please let me know.

Well the next edition of Silent Hunter, Silent Hunter: Wolves of the Pacific, will focus on US subs in the Pacific. It's being released on March 15th. I'll probably wait until after I get a new computer to get it, as my current rig is at the bare minimums for the new game.
