That depends, of course, on your preferences. I've been there for all of a day and a half in last August (cheap flight from THF
) and certainly didn't regret it. I love travelling and sightseeing more than clubbing, so that's what I spent my time and money on.
The day I had in full started of rainy and cloudy, pretty depressing actually, so I decided to take the train across the magnificent bridge to Malmö. It was very, very well worth it! I had hoped for better weather in Sweden, but alas it was no to be. When I saw an X2000 high-speed train at the station, I decided to see if I could get a ticket for a short trip on it to see what it and the southern Swedish countryside are like. Worth it as well, I liked it a lot. Then I travelled back to CPH
where the rain hadn't stopped, but was on its way out of town.
I walked through downtown all the way to Kastellet and then a little further along the (somewhat historic) port, which is nice if you like that sort of thing. Then I walked back towards Amaliehaven and Amalienborg and finally to the hostel on H. C. Andersens Boulevard where I was staying. All in all, it was a bit of an odd tag-on to a domestic trip in Germany, it suited my small budget just nicely and showed me how much I love the freedom to explore whatever part of a city I want. I'm doing the same again in HEL
in late March, so it can be addictive.
Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.
