Talk about lucking out and finding a rare official copy in a thrift store and it is estimated to be worth 100,000 times the $2.48 purchase price. That is a nice little profit. I am sure the owner of the thrift store is  banghead   bomb   cry

And the purchaser of said document is now on the IRS radar screen.  sigh  So much for a really tidy profit.

I don't think it's fair to call the shop owner ignorant. After all, it's a thrift store - he's just trying to sell as much cheap shit as he can. He doesn't expect to have any item that is worth a fart, and it's not worth the money to have any item appraised and authenticized. Yeah, it's a bad break that the shop did sell a genuine item for waaayyyy under value, but sometimes that happens. Don't fault the shop owner though.
