Mutated Food

Tue Feb 27, 2007 2:38 am

Mutated food.
How many times have you ever opened a bag of pretzels and found one stuck to several others, or perhaps had a giant mutated hula hoop crisp?
Well the other day, whilst playing a game of cards, we opened a large pack of wine gums, and found...

It tasted nasty too. (the playing cards are there for you to compare the size btw).

Anyone else found mutated food before?

Kev.

Not me, but I heard someone found an orange that was purple on the inside... I've seen a picture, it looked quite bizarre.

On a related note, would you call that a purple or still an orange..?  cheeky

Running frozen rats through a deli meat slicer isn't as easy as it seems.

try blood orange. If you never tried on, do it. There are, I think, four different varieties. San Diego's variety is supposed to be the best for raw eating..

And its more a maroon than purple, but as a man I wouldnt know.  Big grin

I once found a 2-inch long fused potato chip in a bag of Lay's. My friend wanted me to keep it, but I told him that it's food, not a decoration.

Oh, and I found a long fry (about 20 cm) on my plate of fries when we went to a Denny's.

Do those qualify as mutated food?

Cheers,
Nik
