My First Millennium Mark - Self Gloss

Thu Mar 01, 2007 1:59 pm

Well, it took a while, but I have finally reached the 1000 post mark. I've been a member for nearly 1.75 years, I should probably be long past that by now compared to some users. But I only started messing around in NonAv after starting college, maybe that's why I'm always up till 1AM finishing homework.  scratchchin  Anyway, Cargo Bay and Give-A-F*ck-O-Meter me at will, I can take it.

I calculated that every post I have made as of this one has cost me 2.5 cents each. That doesn't include the ones I got deleted obviously because they are not counted toward my total.

And here's to at least 1000 more.  champagne

Really?
It would be interesting to see how you have calculated this. No, it wouldn't.

I think the English failed sarcasm.
I'm watching Jeopardy. The category is worst Madonna songs. "This one from 1987 is terrible".

I think you'll find 'Maths' is the correct term.

Quoting Wikipedia:
Mathematics (colloquially, maths, or math in North American English) is the body of knowledge centered on concepts such as quantity, structure, space, and change, and also the academic discipline that studies them. Benjamin Peirce called it "the science that draws necessary conclusions".[2] Lynn Steen[3] and Keith Devlin[4] maintain that mathematics is the science of pattern, that mathematicians seek out patterns whether found in numbers, space, science, computers, imaginary abstractions, or elsewhere.

Who failed English?  Yeah sure

Ted failed English, you failed American. That's it. Big grin

As for the thread starter...

Don't expect to see me around that much (if at all) -- the contact link should still work, though.
