Favourite Meal At McDonalds?

Sat Mar 03, 2007 2:48 am

Even for those of you who think McDonalds is gross, this is a thread in which you must state your favourite McDonalds meal wheter you eat there every day or only once in a decade. I'm not a big fan of McDonalds; I personally prefer Dairy Queen, but i don't mind eating at MickyD's on occasion.  Wink

I prefer the morning menu over anything. I am 'famous' for drinking soft drinks in the morning. I have to say my favourite thing to eat at McDonalds is a BLT Begal, Hashbrown, and a Coke. Wink

Cheers

I usually get 1 McChicken, 1 Double Cheeseburger (no onions) and a large coke or sprite. With the $2oz drink promotion at $0.99, I leave only paying $3.20 for a meal.

I seldom go to McDs. Maybe once every month or two. When I go hunting, I get an egg Mcmuffin and a hash brown, the best thing on the breakfast menu. I get a big Mac if I order off the regular menu.

Anyway, double cheeseburger, McPatatas (better than regular fries, they don't seem to be selling them in the States though), and a Sprite.

Their breakfast menus are nice because a few of their things are not common in local breakfasts. The burgers are just burgers.

I for one don't see McDonalds as an evil entity, and I do eat there every other week or three. Of course eating there all the time will not do you good.

They don't offer it anymore since they got rid of the foam packages, but my favorite McDonalds meal of all time still is the MCDLT. I don't remember when they stopped serving it (1993?), but it was my favorite.

The lettuce and tomato stayed nice and cold and crisp while the beef was hot.

They actually still do serve the Mc DLT.....its now called the Big N Tasty.

I stop at Mcdonalds two or three times a week. Only for their coffee on my way to work in the morning. It is surprisingly good. I might eat there once every three months or so...and only for breakfast. I will get a sausage Mcmuffin and a coffee.

I love their breakfast menu, Sausage McMuffin with Egg and a hashbrown! As far as their regular menu goes, sometimes I'll have a Big Mac, sometimes a Quarter Pounder, and sometimes a Big Extra. The only real favourite that I have is not available (anymore) in Canada, and that's the McRib! At least they still have it in Germany so I can get my fix everyonce in awhile.

They have a contract with your school? What does that mean exactly. Here schools aren't allowed to sell fizzy drinks and chips are limited to two days a week. I don't eat at school anyway but it's a good thing.

My Dream meal at Mcdonalds would consist of:

-1 x McChicken
-1 x Cheese Burger
-1 x 6 pack of CHicken McNuggets
-1 x Large Coke
-1 x Large Fries
-1 x Chocolate Sundae
-1 x Quarter Pounder

Unfortunately, it would set you back a bit in terms of cash

As for favorite meal - probably one of those grilled chicken sandwich things. Surprisingly, we don't have any McDonalds (or BK, or Wendy's, etc.) within walking distance of campus here in Cambridge. But we do have Bartley's.

Believe it or not, the basic meal that put Micky Dees on the map!

Hamburger (s) detest cheeseburgers.

unsalted french fries and a coke. Micky Dee's has that excellent combination of the right amount and mix of katchup, mustard, onions and pickles. And, at least in restaurants in Baltimore and South 99% of customers order cheeseburgers. So, when i order the basic burgers, they have to make them hot and fresh. To me, Micky Dees still has the best small basic fast food burger In the next size up category my award goes to Checkers. I can't stand the square funky tasting things they call burgers at Wendys. Burger King's basic burgers are also pretty good.

I'm pretty sure that all McDonald's don't make your food until you order it. They started coverting over from the "queing" food to making it fresh around 1999 in the Bay Area restuarants.

And the days of the 2 minute McDonalds visit died. It sucks now. Half of my 30 minute break is spent standing in the ordering line and/or waiting for food that should already be made.

I'm not sure what other countries still offer the McRib. In Germany at least, it's year round. As far as the other burgers, McDonald's in Germany comes out with a new burger every month or two, usually in assosication with a sporting event, such as the World Cup last year, or a theme month such as Asia Wochen (Asian Weeks).

Also, their Big Tasty is another great burger, they put a sauce on it that gives it a bbq taste to it, really good!
