The fight about work-share within EADS is becomming increasingly ridicoulous.
The french trade union Force Ouvriére (FO) has treatened to block the construction of the A320 aircraft,if the decision to move the competence center for the singl -aisle aicraft from Toulouse to Hamburg, is not revised.
Since it's election time in France ,all sorts of political rubbish proposals are heard every day ( Ségolène Royale, the socialist runner, wants to impose a capital presence of the french Départements within EADS to have a saying ...!!!)
The more I watch politicians ,the more I despise them ....
Nobody dares to acknowlede the need to sanitize EADS a thourough way (exept the current french economic minister who said politicians should stay the hell out of EADS and let the share-holders work out the mess....)
I am afraid the combined timing of French presidential elections and EADS re-organization fall into a conflict of interest.
Shareholders should finally agree to have one and not two heads of Airbus and EADS - all other solutions will make MBA students in their first semester laugh loud !
