Show Your Neighbourhood!

Tue Mar 20, 2007 6:38 am

Hi,
would be nice to see pics of your neighbourhood!
This is the area by the sea in southern Helsinki where I live and work, called Ruoholahti, or Gräsviken in Swedish. The photo is taken Oct 2006. The building back there in the middle is the hotel Radisson SAS Seaside:

My apartment is a few meters down the street:

Picture is a bit older and not taken by me (it is past midnight here and dark), but it still looks like that.

This is the area around my house, Campo Marzio, in downtown Trieste.

And this is the only photo I could find of the main street of Gorizia, where I live 5 days a week...my house is just behind the yellow building.

Here's the view from my bedroom window:

And the view from my room again looking to the right. As you can see this was a few weeks ago when we had heavy snowfall. You can also see how close I live to Charlton Athletic F.C.

We live in the building on the left. And as you can see, almost all the snow is gone! Wohoo!

This is the view from my room, taken last summer. It was quite a cloudy day.  Silly
