Charlie Sheen To Narrate 9/11 Conspiracy Film

Sat Mar 24, 2007 12:13 pm

American actor Charlie Sheen is reportedly in talks to narrate an internet documentary that suggests elements of the US government were behind the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Centre.

I wonder if it'll be filed under documentary or comedy.  Yeah sure

I hope this stupid decision to be involved with the tin hat crew leads to the end of his career. The real conspiricy of 9/11 was by the terrorists themselves.

Whether you're into the conspiracy thing or not, what a terrible choice of actor!!

There are plenty of actors out there that would consider this job that have a lot more credibility than Charlie Sheen. He's always struck me as kind of laughable. Wrong choice to send a serious message.

I think it should be narrated by a collection of "Simpsons" Characters

Damnit! You beat me to it!!

I can't believe that people think dubbya is behind 9/11. I mean, the man can barely put a sentence together.

Just when I think you've said the stupidest thing ever, you keep talkin'!

IF Topper Harley can switch to the other side then the war is truely lost.

But considering his daddy's politics why am I not surprised he is doing this.

Matter of fact, yes. And still does. His award winning sitcom, "Two and a Half Men" has been a success since it's inception in 2003.

"Two and a Half Men" is the most god-awful, shitacular sitcom on TV right now. How it's still on the air is a mystery I may never understand.

Its a reflection of the lack of quality programming on CBS at the moment.

If it is all you have you run with it.

Well, the ratings and number of viewers watching disagree with you. Last week, the show ranked 11th out of the top 20 network primetime series and had over 12 million viewers. It rated higher than some no name programs like "24" and "Lost". Not too bad for being a, what was that, a shitacular sitcom?

I can not express how much I hate the conspiracy nonsense. Actually, I probably could but it certainly doesn't fall within the realm of polite discourse. There are plenty of problems to be debated in theis country without making up a bunch of crap and then repeatly asking, "why haven'tthese questions been answered" when they have been about 400 times. I'm basing what I think of it on Loose Change and the Michael Moore film, maybe there's something out there that is not filled with quotes out of context and fiction, but I haven't encounted it.

Ratings during American prime-time is probably the last thing I would consult as an indicator of what constitutes a show of quality, with actors displaying talent.

I would tend to agree with you but in the real world, it's ratings that determine not only a show's success but also it's survivability. Ratings dictate advertising revenue.

I understand that but I think the debate has really been regarding talent and quality, as opposed to popularity and survivability

Which only goes to prove how Juvenile American television has become.

That show is silly. The only part of it worth a damn is the Housekeeper. And I only watch it at work, my partner loves it.

Charlie Sheen and his Daddy can both go packing if they'd like. And they can take with them the rest of the fruitloops in Hollywood that have avowed to leave the country because they don't like it's politics.

Silly yes. And I agree with what you about Conchata Ferrell. Her dry wit is hilarious. Also, I wonder how long the show will last being that Angus T Jones (the "Half" part of the show's title) is a major part and he's growing up pretty fast.
