Windows Experience Index Score

Fri Mar 30, 2007 8:28 am

Windows have come up with scores to encourage upgrade based on those scores.
How reliable are these scores? This is an example of what I got. To increase the score I would need to change the processor

If I am not mistaken, this is a feature of "Vista" only. I am not exactly sure, but I did come across amd/ati having a similar scoring system.

I started with the score "1" initially. I did fall into the trap of increasing the score  Wink
added a graphics card, increased the RAM.
