Simple Question About Iraq Bombings

Sun Apr 15, 2007 12:16 am

Why can't the coalition or the Iraqi government at least temporarily ban materials that are used for those bombs? Are they all made from such basic items as fertilizers as in the Oklahoma City bombings?

Suppose that a ban would do any good? Ban what? From Whom?

Some are made from basic items, but most are true blue imports from neighboring countries . . . . Iran for instance.

Banning the material to make bombs in Iraq won't stop the importation of the already assembled and ready to fire devices from Iran . . . .

Iran? Iran would NEVER do such a thing!

You can put your own "signed by" to finish that one. But there's enough of the wilfully blind out there who think that way.

Seriously thought about it . . . . .  biggrin

If there was ever a need to seriously seal off the borders to a country, Iraq is it. Start with Iran, but continue with Syria, Saudi Arabia and ask the Turks for their assistance to the north.

There's a start.
