Congrats from me as well!

Good that Italy didn't qualify. The "less" money will go into the Italian football (soccer) world, the better will be the situation.

Interesting news, and a surprise, especially since I was under the impression that FIFA (and therefore UEFA) was not too keen on having co-hosts for main tournaments after 2008.

Italy would have got it if it weren't for the last violence episodes and of course the scandals of last year.

You know most of it would have been embezzled anyway.

Fox Soccer Channel:
The 2012 European Championship is going behind the old Iron Curtain to Poland and Ukraine - without even one of the 12 proposed venues completed.

it just seems that it world be hard to build all the venues in that time.

Congrats to both

looking forward to this, i hope poland and ukraine will be able to create a friendly atmosphere as in germany during the world cup!
additionally, i hope ukraine will have the key political issues solved by then, the internal struggle the country goes through does not seem to be a good basis for a problem free euro.
