This is awesome to everyone who loves baseball and isn't named Michael Cialini.

What, do you think if you had continued shitting on the Red Sox we'd sweep you next weekend at the Stadium as well?

Oh, the shitting will continue. Think of this as a little...aside.

CI - Bostons team is now known as the Green Sox for the lucky charms jerseys they wore last week.

I don't care if they wear pink togas as long as they keep beating the snot out of the Yankees.

Maybe the Green Sox would have a history filled with a few more titles if they worried about something other than just beating the Yankees.

Maybe on-field performance should be discussed instead of the color of their uniforms.

This world does not need David Ortiz in a pink toga.

It's really a shame that Buckner has to be attached to that one play for eternity. He was a great ballplayer. I have to admit I broke a great many things that night. I knew the second that Gedman let that Stanley pitch go to the backstop that the Mets would win in some strange fashion. What I didn't know was HOW.

Come to think of it, if Manny were to wear a pink toga, does that mean that he would color his hair pink as well?

Perhaps the hilarity of that would be suitable compensation for having to look at Papus Magnus in period garb.

At least the '86 team didn't go around whining about "Why Not Us". I guess there was hope for the Chowds being respectable in the past. Somewhere between the Evil Empire and "Fever Pitch" that was lost though.
