Thats because I had already used my SA passport to enter Israel in 1996, 1999 and 2000. I got my Australian passport in 2000, and used that once (in 2004) . I didn't have any problems entering Malaysia or Oman with the Israeli stamps on either of my passports.

The USA is not using IATA codes in their immigration stamps, they also use "SFR" instead of "SFO", "LOS" instead of "LAX", "NYC" instead of "JFK", "CHI" instead of "ORD" etc.

Patrick

Edit: I just saw in an old passport that "ATL" is in use at both the IATA and US immigration.

How in the hell did you get BNA?!

Many years ago, when my passport was very new, AA used to run a flight LGW - BNA.

Quoting JGPH1A (Reply 37):
He's Swiss - wouldn't have a UK or French stamp, they don't stamp Swiss passports (unless you ask).

I'm actually a Brit living in Switzerland. No EU country bothers to stamp my passport.

Actually one of my co-workers was over in Switzerland and was on a small tour and stopped at the Post Office in Vaduz to get a Liechtenstein stamp.
