+/- 1500 now , I have a 40 GB player so plenty of room for more, most of the songs on it I won't ever listen once, 40 Gig is such overkill, I had more fun with my 1 Gb flashplayer.

Just about 2,218, or about 9 Gigs. I also have a bunch of movies that fill about half of my 80G iPod.

2684 for me, which will be a short-lived record discounting Superfly's analogue collection of to-be-celebrated-not-consumed music.

Considering I know someone with a filled 80G iPod, it's not too much. But he's the exception.  Wink

Currently only about 2100 songs on my 30gb iPod. I've been trying to do some cleaning... Have around 6000 songs on my hard drive (All legally purchased, of course  eek  )

Cheers

NICE !

I have tons of vinyl in a storage unit somewhere, plus about 1400 CDs worth of music digitally "backed up", along with another several thousand "files" I aquired from different places.

Talk about funny, I bought a used car last week that still has a cassette player in the dash. I wanted to put a tape in it so it would look to the thieves like I had just a no frills system (the CD player is behind a fold down compartment cover), so I had to look through some old boxes of junk to find one. The tape I found was one I made from an album a local rock station put together in the early eighties promotong local bands. On a whim I went ahead and popped in the tape and I heard those magical pops from the vinyl I recorded it from. Too cool.

1043 songs, which take up 2.64GB. I have one of the old school 4GB iPod Nanos from like two years ago. Still works okay for me most of the time.

Considering that iTunes says that my 9 Gigs is over 6.2 days worth, it has to be quite a lot.  Smile

If you want endless analog audio pleasure, feast your eys on the Telex 48D.
It holds up to 12 8track cartridges and it can play quadraphonic tapes too.
Some 8tracks are as long as two hours. Load that with 12 120minute tapes and you have 24 hours of great music.

I prefer these over the record changer just in case me or someone in the room decides they want to dance.

Yes, the microphonic effect of the stylus sucked at high volume.

And thanks, I agree its the best way to keep the thieves out too. The stock unit in my Prius sounds fine. Such that it is.

I've got in excess of 40 albums (= $800 of music!) and a bunch of other random songs.

Just 89 songs, I have a 512Mb Sony MP3 player... somewhere.

One of the headphones stopped working, so I put it in a safe place until I got new headphones, only now that safe place seems to be rather illusive. I'm not that bothered though, I got through a 13 hour flight without it, quite refreshing as well not to have it constantly in my ears whenever I'm abroad as I used to. Anyway, I find now that music just doesn't sound the same through tinny earplugs as a good surround sound system!

350-400. I just have a few selections but my music of choice is classical so the works are quite long.

I have a pathetic 383 songs on my iTunes. The hard drive of my 80GD iPod can get very lonely with such a sparse population. Nearly 1.5GB and just over a day of music, I'm getting sick of listening to them actually.
