CA has banned the .50 BMG rifle by classifying it as an "Assault Weapon". Seriously? What is someone going to do with a five foot long, thirty pound rifle that recoils like a kicking horse? Does anyone even know if anyone has ever been killed in a crime where a BMG rifle was used?
