I've seen videos of those before, that's crazy!!!! Think of how much practice it must take to be able to perfect that!

The runway at my home town airport is only 75 feet long.


And nearly 7000 feet wide.

It took that guy like 4 tries to do that at Comox airshow in '05.  Wink

So if you had a conveyer belt, and the aircraft landed on it, would it stop on the spot?  Wink

It was an attemp at humor that I guess you did not get. It was a slab at the drunk pilot landing joke.
There is plenty of room for Gods animals, right next to the mashed potatoes!

I have a comic that was cut out of a newspaper by a friend. It features two airline pilots commenting on the very short, yet extremely wide runway ahead of them. Behind them is one of the F/As, who is noticeably concerned.  biggrin
