My Son Almost Made Me Cry...:)

Fri Jun 01, 2007 7:34 am

Last night, one of my favorite movies was on, and he watched most of it with me.

I was soooo happy to see him express such interest, it almost brought tears to my eyes, especially when he said he wanted to see it again.  cloudnine

The movie?

How old is your son? Shouldn't all boys like this movie? I sure did and still do. Haven't seen it for a long while though.

I've only seen "The Right Stuff" one or two times (it was a very long time ago), and I definitely want to see it again.

Depends, some are more into fantasy play.

But do remember that this movie is 3 hours long.

That is indeed very long for a 4 year old. Looks like he will become interested in aviation and spaceflight.  bigthumbsup

He already is! Took him to the airport yesterday, and he was insisting that UPS is a passenger airline and would accept tickets for travel.

He knows his space shuttle.

And others already know that he is well interested in trains as well. We take at least weekly trips to watch some action.

Yesterday my cat watched Gone with the Wind from beginning to end.

I am so proud.

She is a very smart cat.

My brother-in-law cried once when his son was intensely focused on the TV.

He was watching the Power Puff Girls.

Hey! Just because I still get hurt all the time... biggrin

He was making joke of my hurt foot for a while, by using my cane and pretend limping. But thankfully, he has not received any serious injuries. By his age, I already had broken an arm, split my chin open, and got 16 stitches in my head.

That happens at least once a day.

Fortunately, he is only into boy stuff. And cartoons really don't interest him that much, unless its Futurama.

It is, I've been told that couldn't watch anything longer than an hour, unless it was a cartoon. I'd fall asleep when my dad was watching football, almost bringing tears to his eyes, not tears of joy, mind you  Sad Still, I've managed build up a soccer interest, which makes my daddy proud, finally.

Cheers

That is very impressive for a four year old. I have a few cousins around that age or so, and NONE of them can sit longer than about 20 minutes without fussing about something.
