Ripping A Soundtrack From A Mpeg On A Mac.

I have ripped a Phil Collins DVD for use on my iPod and it works fine. However, is it possible just to take the soundtrack and burn it onto a CD?

Quicktime Pro allows you to export any movie soundtrack to WAV or AIFF (File -> Export...). To export directly to MP3 from Quicktime you need to install the LAME MP3 library, otherwise just pick some other sound editor to convert from WAV to MP3 after exporting (for example Audacity).

MPEG Streamclip lets you convert or split video files into their components.
