Those are regular temperatures to where i will be moving this summer. Those temperatures added with a job at the airport, ahhhh. Besides, i thought it would be hotter in Israel.

The average temperature in parts of California is often the hottest in the world.

This weekend, Dubai will see only 44% humidity. You want humid, try New Orleans

Welcome to India my friend, I am never visiting during summer, got out of the aircraft and immediately started sweating at 11PM, WTF?

actually about 30 more miles west, LOL. Redlands, CA to be exact. It gets hot there, but not as hot as the summers in the tropics, not even close combined with the humidity.

What I don't understand about the Springs is that it'll be 115°, and all the ol' geezers are still out playing golf! No wonder we keep hearing of people keeling over on the links.

I was going to say. There isn't much east of Palm Springs until you hit Phoenix. Also, like I said, Palm Springs competes with anywhere for ambient temps, but is helped (a little) by the lack of moisture.

They like it in the high and shoulder seasons, which is not the summer

To be honest, after 10 years putting up with tropical weather, I'd rather be in the Falkland Islands right now, spending some time in much needed cold.

To answer the question, they play then 'cause its cheap then. (Relative of mine)

It sure as hell beats the weather in the Gulf! Its been around 45C for the past month, and is expected to rise... and the humidity is absolutely disgusting. 90% at times, just like in Dubai as Emirates773ER said!

The only consolation I have is that I can always enjoy "chilly weather" whenever I want.  Wink

Dubai: There may be no better way to escape the searing summer heat in Dubai than a visit to the Chill Out lounge, a new subzero experience from Sharaf Group.

Owners of the ice bar, situated in the new Times Square Centre shopping mall, are hoping it will be a hit with tourists and residents alike, and in the process draw in business to the Sharaf Group’s new shopping centre.

The bar, which charges a Dh60 entry fee that comes with a beverage, is made entirely of ice – including an ice bar, ice chairs (with leather cushions) and even a decorative curtain made from sculpted ice blocks. Each guest is given a thick coat and gloves to brave the minus six degrees Celsius climate.

Temperature extremes make us feel right at home. Personally, I like a place where a person can get a good balance of powder, sand, and water in the same year.
