80's TV Ad - Hairdressers In ADL

Mon Jun 25, 2007 10:42 pm

Found this on youtube, I had to post it.......

Adelaide, the home of the mullet. I'm sure there's still blokes there with those hairstyles! I'm sure Springbok will be able to confirm any mullet sightings............

Just love the 'international style salon' & they were even pushing the 'product' back then. Seems pretty mind-blowing stuff for Adelaide in the '80's. Mind you, those old Greek & Italian boys could sure cut hair at a fair pace.

What in the world does the Anti-Defamation League have to do with hairdressers and bad Australian mullets?  Wink

Another one I've found...

A pantyhose commercial from 1981, they'd get into serious strife if they put this on now, especially with the priest.....

Too bloody cold to go out! It's a proper Melbourne winter this year, it's been freezing.
