On and off for the last few years, my left knee area has been sore. It'd be sore for a few days-a week at the most, and I'd have trouble bending it, then it would go away.
About a month ago, it got real sore-worst it's ever been, and it stayed that way for a month, and then, about 3 weeks ago, it swelled up, which never had happened before.
Finally went into the doc a week ago, and he had me get an MRI
. He also gave me an anti-inflammatory to get the swelling down. It's felt much better since then. But got the results of the MRI
this morning-torn ACL. DAMN!
So I'm gonna have to go see a specialist, and most likely, have surgery to repair the ACL. Can't start the process next week-going to be traveling from Saturday through next Friday (taking the youngest to meet Mickey for the first time), so when I get back, I have to see what's in store.
I'd like to say I tore it doing a high-flying LeBron-like slam dunk or something, but I have a severe case of "White Man's Syndrome", and can't elevate like that.
Honestly, I don't have the first clue how I did it!
