Sen. David Vitter (R): My Kind Of Conservative :)

Wed Jul 11, 2007 3:55 pm

I would vote for him...and I approve his message.

Former madam says Vitter was a client at Canal Street brothel
By Kate Moran
Staff Writer

Jeanette Maier, the madam known for operating a high-end brothel with her mother and daughter, said Tuesday that U.S. Sen. David Vitter made occasional visits to her business beginning in the mid-1990s after the two met at a fishing rodeo where she and her prostitutes were hired to entertain local politicians.

Larry Flynt catches another La. politician

By Bruce Alpert and Bill Walsh
Washington bureau

WASHINGTON -- Hustler Magazine is taking credit for forcing Sen. David Vitter, R-La., to admit that his phone number is on the 2001 records of clients of a woman accused in a federal indictment of running a prostitution ring.

At the time, Vitter, 46, was a member of the House of Representatives.

Hustler editor and publisher Larry Flynt also claimed responsibility nearly nine years ago for getting former Rep. Bob Livingston, R-Metairie, to admit that he had extramarital affairs in the past. Livingston resigned from the House, giving up the role of speaker, which would have put him third in line for the presidency. Livingston resigned the same day the House voted to impeach President Clinton for lying about his relationship with a White House intern.

It's on CNN too. Another virtucrat proves he's just as human as the rest of us.

part of the things my personal "common sense" rules:

if someone is a strong defender of religous values AND trying to enforce them onto other people, chances are that the stricter the rules and morals are that he wants to force upon others, the less he applies them to himself.

i think its often that the worst "sinners" (in their own definition of sin) are those who sing the religion song the loudest.

No, worse... because "the rest of us" aren't frauds who go about attempting to change the country's laws and write discrimination into the Constitution in the name of morals that we don't even apply to our own wretched selves.

For those of you not be familiar with Vitter, he rode in on the Republican 2004 "Moral Victory" in a big way. That was back when the buzzword term of the time was "Sanctity of Marriage", and he repeated that puke-inducing phrase more times than every other GOPer (combined) has invoked the spirit of Reagan throughout all of 2007. He absolutely ~trashed~ all of his opponents on their alleged lack of moral values, and made that the central tenant of his campaign.... which many never could understand, because he was polling highest on nearly every TANGIBLE issue, such that he won his senatorial seat without an electoral runoff; very rare in Louisiana. He could've left all of the moralistic fingerpointing to those at the bottom of the polls, and easily won on the issues.

But he didn't, and that's what makes his public outing so deliciously hilarious that it almost hurts!

Oh oh! It just gets better!

A local Madame here in New Orleans just came forward this morning with a "wait, he's a regular here too", and his people aren't denying it! It's already made national news, with MSNBC reporting first.

....this is so sweet it ~has~ to be fattening! LOL.

You think this development has legs?
Will it this lead to him resigning, leaving Gov. Thibedeux-Blanco to appoint a replacement?

Here is another scary article for Senator Vitters;

http://dir.salon.com/story/news/feat...04/10/29/lousiana_race/index2.html

Asked by an interviewer in 2000 whether she could forgive her husband if she learned he'd had an extramarital affair, as Hillary Clinton and Bob Livingston's wife had done, Wendy Vitter told the Times-Picayune: "I'm a lot more like Lorena Bobbitt than Hillary. If he does something like that, I'm walking away with one thing, and it's not alimony, trust me."

That evil witch admits that she would resort to violence and commit an illegal act just because her feelings are hurt?!?!  Wow!

I don't think so.

And another tantalizing twist on the Vitter saga:

He liked his whores to dress him up in diapers!

Senators and many members of their staff have Blackberries and thus receive messages from God via email, text, or BlackBerry Messenger (Provided you're cool enough to get God's PIN).

Unfortunetly he will most likely be 'forgiven' and continue on with his term because at the end of the day it's just politics.

IMHO he is unfit to serve as a Senator on a number of fronts and should resign. We expect our soldiers, marines, airmen and sailors to remain faithful to their spouses via the UMCJ. Yet some of our government officials feel they should not be held to the similar standards. Standards which I am sure a majority of Americans hold themselves to. I certainly would not like someone claiming to 'represent' me when one finds it okay to publicly shame family for sexual gain.

Doesn't he has to be forgiven by the people who voted for him? I mean after all he is in debt to them.

So will Mrs. Vitter carry out her violent attack as she claimed?
Oh wait, that was just an excuse to beat up on Hillary Clinton and she just assumed that her holier than thou husband would never cheat on her.
Funny she thought it would never happen to her.
