Paying Attention To Conversation

Mon Jul 16, 2007 8:01 am

Ever find others (or you) answering questions or responding to comments you haven't made yet? I just got off the phone with an outstation, and the guy said "no problem" just before I said "thanks". This morning, though, I was guilty, when I was zoned out (or just had some nervous energy), when I was talking with a couple of other guys. Usually, I've been able to stay focused on what's being said in a conversation, but, sometimes, I just need a breath. Some people, though, just don't pay attention.

Ever find yourself (and/or others) like this?  scratchchin

Say again?

I'm forever drifting off in conversations. I like to think of it as the other person being boring as opposed to me having a concentration problem!
