Would You Want To Live In Space?

Mon Jul 16, 2007 1:01 pm

if it is possible would you want to live on mars or the moon? IMO no, i think it would be to difficult, i think that they can and will do it, at least on the moon. what are your thoughts?

I'd hate to come back and have lost all that weight. It would definitely be an interesting journey, but I wouldn't want to stay away too long. How long is the trip to Mars as it stands, nine months? Way too long for me. The moon, perhaps.

I would like to have a vacation on the Moon. Would there be rockets or planes taking people to the Moon? I was watching a show about taking people to the moon and Pan Am was selling tickets to the Moon, did the people that buy tickets get refunds?

In a fantasy sense, yes. Abord a United Federation Starship, or a Deep Space Station. On the moon, yes as well, if we had bases like those in Space 1999. Alas, I should lived so long to see this dream become reality. Nice to think about, tho.

Not only that, but IIRC, you'd have to stay there for well over a year too in order to leave Mars for the journey back to Earth at the most optimal time.

I think a trip to the moon would be cool at first, but would probably get pretty boring fast.

I will never leave this planet as far as I am concerned. I have a hard enough time pictureing myself leaving the USA to live by choice. I do not want to leave the planet. Too risky and dangerous. I will stay comfotably on this planet as far as I am concerned. Screw space the final frontier. I want to go as high as I can take they types I fly and no furthur.
