Knock-Off Goods: Okay, Wrong, Dangerous?

Sat Aug 25, 2007 7:07 am

I know this news story is old, but I just came across it today.

Quote:
"Even more frightening is evidence developed by the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force that (showed) the sale of the counterfeit goods financed the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. The U.S. Customs Service continues to warn that counterfeit designer bags may finance terror."

Do you buy knock-offs? Do you think its wrong to buy them?

Personally no, I have never bought a fake handbag nor would I. I have bought fake sunglasses. Not so much for the designer name but just b/c they were cheap.

I am against fakes. If you want the real thing- buy the real thing. If you are too cheap to pay for it, buy something else.
Things were better when it was two guys in a dorm room.
