It's amazing how drinking removes all common sense and reason. That one of the a-holes is facing a THIRD DWI and the other a Second DWI, I suspect neither will have to worry about driving for a while...a long while...maybe years and probably some jail time, nasty expensive fines and un-insurable. Also, sounds like all 3 in the car need to get some serious psych help, rehab and AA.

That's not how it works here, especially with repeat offenders. What will likely happen is that both will serve their jail time, with work release (10 days for 2nd offense and up to 90 days for the third). They'll make payments on their fines to keep a warrant off their backs but that's about it.

They will drive without a license and without insurance. As the article says, both had their license revoked already.

Unfortunately, it's the Wisconsin way.  Sad
