Cartoon Voices, Let "see" Them.

Wed Sep 26, 2007 9:53 pm

I've often wondered who does all the cartoon voices. I watch some with my kids like Dora, Atomic Betty, Sixteen, the list goes on. What do they look like in "real" life.
I've done quick searches but to no avail.
Post a pic the person and the voice(s) they perform.
From my era. The pic shows a lot of his work.

I didn't know that. What a contrast.

Clancy Brown did some voices in Atomic Betty and Mr. Krabs in Sponge Bob Square Pants. Funny, well sort of considering the evil bugger he played in HBO's Carnivale, which i really enjoyed.

As well as O'aka XXIII and Maechen in the Final Fantasy X games, and various roles in the Everquest computer games. He currently voices Dr. Amino on the Cartoon Network series Ben 10.

The voice of Bob the Builder in the United States versions is Greg Proops who was a regular on "Whose Line Is It Anyway"

If you do a search on YouTube for Simpsons Actors Studio you can see almost all of the voices being done by the actors. Really neat to watch. Here's a 10 minute version of the show:

Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the voices (and geniuses) behind the majority of the characters on South Park

And of course, Chef, Issac Hayes (no longer part of the show, that weakling):

He also does the voice for this character on "Drawn Together:"

Go to about 3:05ish, and you'll see who does Cleveland. Shockingly, it's a white guy.

Maybe I put up the wrong photo, cause on Wikipedia and the offical Family Guy website it says Mike Henry does the voice of Cleveland.

Who also does a lot of the voices on "Robot Chicken"

Direct from Beautiful Downtown Burbank, Gary Owens, the original voice of Space Ghost, Powdered Toast Man on Ren & Stimpy, and Dynomutt:

Continuing the Adult Swim tangent:

Gary Cole, who provided the voice of Harvey Birdman and Hiram Mightor, and whose voice shows up from time to time on Family Guy:

Stephen Colbert (yes the guy from Comedy Central) voiced several characters on Harvey Birdman Attorney At Law (Myron Reducto, Phil Ken Sebben, The Eagle of Truth):

Here's some of faces behind the voices from Futurama:

Billy West (Fry, Professor Farnsworth, Zoidberg, Zapp Branigan):

Billy also replaced John K. as Ren on Ren & Stimpy (He was already doing the voice of Stimpy) after John K. got canned by Nickelodeon.

John Di Maggio, the voice of my favorite character, Bender:

Katey Sagal, the voice of Leela (Yes folks, it's Peg Bundy):
