LSU/Florida-One For The Ages

Sun Oct 07, 2007 4:07 am

Awesome game played by two of the best teams in the land.....LSU was down 10 points to the Gators at halftime, and played one of their greatest second halfs of football ever and won 28-24 in Death Valley.

Props to the Gators, they're a hell of a team. God what an incredible game...

Well, that settles the question on who will be #1, Cal or OSU.

Neither.  Big grin

gut-wrenching loss...great game though. lsu is a mean team and easily #1 in my opinion; the shame about the whole thing is that id really consider my gators one of the top 5 teams in the nation right now, but they cant/wont get that credit after two straight losses.

We're just too young on defense to be a top 5 team. Hopefully we are past or rough spot and will pull it together and win out. Watch out for us next year when we will have more experience.

Good luck to LSU, I'll be rooting for them in the national title hunt.

The SEC is so strong that LSU might get bumped at some point. The Big 10 is strong enough, still, that OSU could get bumped, too. Cal vs. USF, anyone?

It was a good game, I figured LSU was going to lose the way the tempo was going. One of the greatest of the day, not for the ages. Stanford-USC was a far better game.

As did I. I normally have nothing to do with this foot-sket-ball, or whatever you call it; but even I have to admit that that was one hell of a nail-biter.
