Joe Torre News Conference

Fri Oct 19, 2007 6:11 pm

Wow does he look so much more relaxed and releived. The stress is definately gone from his face and he sounds almost happy. It had to feel so damned good to tell Steinbrener to pretty much take his offer and shove it up his arse. I say kudos to you Joe.

Probably his best managing job was dealing with this year Yankees. Can't win unless you got quality front-line pitching, which the Yankees didn't have, (resigning Clemens was a joke). At this age, I think it would also be a mistake for him to take another managing job, unless the team was already in a position to contend.
