Your Christmas Tree

Sun Dec 16, 2007 2:34 am

Post a pic of your Christmas tree. I travel to my parents in St. Louis for Christmas so I do not decorate my house. I do put up my Christmas tree at work. I am happy to teach at a public school that is cool with Christmas and doesn't wimp out under the pressure of a small group of haters. My school has several dozen trees around, in classrooms, common areas and offices. The other trees are cool but I think the best is my aluminum tree and all its shimmering beauty (so it says on the box).

This fine four foot aluminium tree is 1959 vintage as is the cool rotating color spot light behind it. I have the original box with the sales receipt. I teach auto shop so it figures that my students decorated it with car parts.

I love Christmas trees but I can't haul one all the way up here as I do not have a car.

However I have seen lots of beautiful Christmas trees last week in Honolulu.
These are in the lobby of the Sheraton Waikiki.
