I don't bother. I don't give any xmas presents, not only am I too tight to even think about it, but the only christmas spirit I have comes in a bottle.
Statistically, people who have had the most birthdays tend to live the longest.

I usually let the store wrap my Xmas presents. They wrap them much better than me.

My wife spends on average $5 per present on wrapping. It's insane. She buys the most expensive ribbon, paper, and whatever other frilly butterfly things she wants - and it is beautiful, but considering that we give on average 30 presents to various people every year - THAT'S $150 on wrapping every bloody christmas!!!

Still, she's the boss.

My girlfriend happily does it for me while I clean the kitchen, work in the yard, detail the cars or anything else I can think of to get out of wrapping the presents. I do wrap hers at work though.

come on, wrapping isn't hard. nobody says it has to look pretty. Just make sure its nice and tight, and use a good bit of tape on the bottom to make it harder to open. Keeps them in suspense.  Smile

I did spend about 2 hours wrapping my girlfriend's gift this year... only because it wasn't working any way I tried it.

I suck at wrapping. Hate it too when my result looks all messy and amateurish.

I'd prefer the store to do it, but this year it seems most German stores won't do that anymore..  Angry

Last year I wrapped them myself... after enduring the long queues to pay for the gifts on Dec. 24, no way I was going to endure the long queues to have them wrapped!  eek
Don't expect to see me around that much (if at all) -- the contact link should still work, though.

We do it in assembly line order.... my wife will get everything all boxed and ready, I'll wrap and pass back to her for ribbons, bows, and name-tags. I use a utility knife for cutting the paper. I can cut the paper and wrap the box faster than most folks can cut the paper with scissors....  biggrin
