Lloyd Carr, Coach Of The Year?

Tue Jan 01, 2008 2:45 am

Sitting here watching the Chick Fil A bowl and just saw Lloyd Carr presented with a trophy for Coach of the Year. 8-4 with a loss to App State? Am I missing something?

I could certainly see a lifetime achievement type award, but this season was pretty much a disaster for Michigan. I'm curious to hear what others think on this as I'm pretty much completely flabbergasted by this.
Where are all of my respected members going?

I'd say that June Jones or Les Miles would be more deserving. This is handing out a lifetime achievement prize over the heads of more deserving candidates.
Is my Pan Am ticket to the moon still good?
