What Car Is This?

Sat Jan 26, 2008 8:35 pm

I came across this cute little thing buzzing round the city centre this afternoon. It looks like something out of the 1950s, but it's obviously only 17 years old, as it has a 91 reg. I've never seen one before. Can anyone identify it please? It seems to be a cabriolet.

It's called a Nissan Figaro. Only 20,000 of them were ever made.

Top of the class LHRjc! I'm surprised it wasn't more popular. It looks great. Thank you.

If by "looks great" you mean "looks like an after dinner mint with wheels", than yes, I agree, it looks great.

Well nothing is as hideous as the Fiat Multipla. I remember seeing a few of those in Croatia and thinking 'WTF is that?'

I'm just an old-fashioned boy at heart. It brings out the Noddy in me. And sorry, "Fiat Multipla" and "stylish" cannot be used in the same sentence.  vomit

Societe Generale had expressed an interest in buying it.

If I saw a pic I might even call YOU "cute", but then with "Hvy" in your name I doubt it . . .  Wink

You got me there.

Interesting stuff...it took a lot of people to cobble up what Enron lost but it looks like your boy Jerome Kerviel there hasn't yielded an inch in individual effort. That's a Texas style accomplishment and we're thinking about making him a financial consultant when he gets out on work release, say, in 2025 or thereabouts...I hear that Devils' Island has a few vacancies.

Never let it be said that the French do not know how to do things in the grand manner.

Yep. As one of my favorite demotivators goes, "Ineptitude: If You Can't Learn To Do Something Well, Learn To Enjoy Doing It Poorly"

Or, as I like to put it, "If you're going to f'ck up, might as well f*ck up good".

BTW, the guy already has something like 10 different fan sites on Facebook alone, some of them asking for him to be nominated for the Nobel Prize in Economics.

Franco, you're killin' me here.

Kinda reminds me of that skit in Monty Python and the Holy Grail, with a nod to The Scarlet Pimpernel.
