Advice Re Napster

Sun Jan 27, 2008 10:31 pm

Hi All

Am thinking of getting Napster to download my music from. After some advice really. If I want to be able to download to PC and copy to my MP3 player which package should I go for? Also are all files encrypted so that my MP3 might not recognise them?

Thanks

Stephen

You have to buy one of the MP3 players that Napster recognises. There's a list on their website. If you already have one then happy days, but if you don't it can be costly. Luckily I have a Creative Zen, I'm very happy with it and the Napster service generally. Personally cant stand itunes.

Thanks for such a quick answer,

Just looked and my MP3 is not on the list for "Napster to Go" service although according to other links it should work fine with Napster in the whole.

Does this mean i can only have the downloaded track in 1 place on my PC or should I still be able to transfer from PC to MP3. If it helps the MP3 i have is Sony NWZ-A818 8GB

Thanks

I think you can download to MP3 and have it on your PC with the Napster Lite 79p store option but I'm not 100% sure.
