In addition to the above, walk around the quay area, go to the botancial gardens... just go to a cafe, relax, read a book... Big grin

My wife and I truly loved Singapore, so much so we ended up spending about 10 days there (from an originally planned 3 days). It's a city we'd love to live in.

I found the night zoo really spectacular.

There's some excellent spotting to do at Changi beach, while at the same time you can enjoy a nice sand-beach.

And yes, shop till you drop...

When I stayed there last year, I usually started the day by going to the local pool, did a bit of swimming, then lay in the sun till I was well cooked and headed for the air con shopping heaven
I love my Airport Job! :)

Are you going to Singapore to be on SQ308, the very first A380 commercial flight to Heathrow?  airplane

No, Im on the first flight out to Singapore from LHR. I would have had to miss more time from college to go on the 1st SIN-LHR flight. As you have been on the A380 before any recommendations for good seats in Economy??

The food! Try different local dishes from the hundreds of foodcourts all over the place.
Sentosa Island, reached by cable car - a kind of theme park, with beaches, a museum from the Japanese occupation and amazing light, laser and fountain show in the evening.
I also climbed the hill in the centre of the island - Bukit Timor I think.
(One of the elevated light rail lines was interesting - the windows automatically frosted over when it went past blocks of flats, then un-frosted once past! So the householders kept their privacy)

This is a seating chart for the SIA A380.
I would recommend the upper deck and a window seat.

I have 75K on my flight to London Heathrow. I think I will be comfy with maybe a good view.
See if you can get 72 through 79 if you can. Then you will be free to go on the lower deck for visits during the flight, it will give you some exercise and you can tour the aircraft maybe even in Business Class (except for the F suites).
