KhelmDTW,

I like the FL70 and FL80 chassis. What is the lifespan and power plant on those trucks?

BMIflyer,

I love those Scanias. Lookin bitchin. Very gorgeous and though I wonder how safe they are.

You know, I'm not exactly sure, but they seem to get new ones about every 10 years. The one next to the ladder truck is the oldest. They got it around 1998. I'll have to ask one of my neighbors who is a FF, what the power plant is. I'm guessing from research its a CAT 3100 series. The truck in question is almost due for retirement. Who knows, maybe they'll get an Genesis

Or maybe steal this one from the tribe  Wink

The site isn't that up to date, because we got a new hook and ladder fire truck that is not shown. It looks like the truck KPWM posted.
