PA Rivers, Fishing, And The Hellbender

Thu Aug 07, 2008 3:13 am

Looking for A.Netters who live in PA and perhaps spend time trout fishing or exploring our rivers in Western/Central PA.

I am working on conservation/distribution/future project on the Hellbender. For those of you that aren't familiar, the hellbender is a very large salamander that resides in clean streams/rivers. The project is more about river quality than anything.

I am trying to learn what specific areas of PA streams/rivers that you may have located this amphibian in. I am hoping there are some A.Netters out there like me who enjoy aviation and nature!

Try Ridley Creek in Ridley Creek State Park - it's located in far western Delaware County. Good luck with your project!
