Where do I complain about taxies in Shenzhen, China? The service was inefficient and inferior. Any e-mail address? I don't live there so.....

In Russia, taxi rides you. Same thing in China?

Seriously, I would start by writing to the company that operates the taxi. Politely explain what you expected, what you received, and why it is inadequate. Also be sure to include what would make you happy (eg, refund fare, pay for incurred expenses, etc). I don't know if this will work in China, but it is probably the best thing to do.

In Hong Kong we contact the Traffic Complaint Bureau.

I have the taxi's number plate, the name of the taxi driver etc. But I forgot to write down the name of the taxi.

Any traffic bureau that I can complain to?

I know there is little customer service there

Sorry but do you really think they are going to care ?

Taxi passengers are a dime a dozen in China at the moment and you may be the tip of the iceberg as far as compliants go. But dont expect a reply from them re this

Its like me complaining to the Italian Police when my wallet was stolen last year, they done the paper trail and more than likely forgot me as soon as i walked out the station

that is still a VERY good thing to do even if the police don't take you seriously.

I don't think its the police that doesn't want to take him seriously, but the sheer number of missing wallets and phones and items make it impossible for them to follow up on every case.

OMG, are you implying they (Italian Police) are just as irresponsive as the Communists?

As this is probably the first time that China has been open to so many tourists EVER, their taxi services won't be accustomed to the way other countries and cultures expect service....
So what do you hope to accomplish by making a complaint?

I know there is no customer service there.

Still there is a channel to complain.
