Should Scotland Take Over The World?

Sat Aug 16, 2008 12:24 pm

Lets see...

We have probably the best scenery
We have our own monster
We do have oil/gas (although illegally the money goes to Ingerlund)
The Polish seem to love us?
Whisky, Golf and Battered Mars bars all come from Scotland
In Edinburgh we have ghost tours  Wink
We have some zoo's and Blair Drummond Safari Park
Tennents Lager
Super Tennents Lager
Best small country in the World
We managed to get the Scottish flag onto airliners.net
Rabbie Burns came from Scotland

Anyway, should Scotland take over the world?

1.
O flower of Scotland
When will we see
Your like again
That fought and died for
Your wee bit hill and glen
And stood against him
Proud Edward's army
And sent him homeward
Tae think again

2.
The hills are bare now
And autumn leaves lie thick and still
O'er land that is lost now
Which those so dearly held
And stood against him
Proud Edward's army
And sent him homeward
Tae think again

3.
Those days are passed now
And in the past they must remain
But we can still rise now
And be the nation again
And stood against him
Proud Edward's army
And sent him homeward
Tae think again

 bigthumbsup

P.S. We also have Flyglobespan  Smile

Some may laugh.... but in reality, the Scottish already have. Many of the movers and shakers in the British Empire were Scots!

Well, speaking for Canada, anyway. Sir John A MacDonald, Canada's first prime minister... was Glaswegian. Our second prime minister was Alexander Mackenzie. BC's Coal magnet, Robert Dunsmuir. First Governor of BC, James Douglas. Many explorers were too. Alexander Mackenzie (a different one), Simon Fraser to name a couple....
